SIMON CULLIFORD spent 24 years within the Barclays Group and held a number of managerial roles that included a two year spell in the bank’s joint venture in Egypt, as well as periods as Operations Director Bristol Region and, latterly, Director of International Private Banking, London. From 1998-2001 Simon was Head of Private Banking for Union Bancaire Privee, London, before moving into executive search. He co-founded Culliford Edmunds Associates in May 2004.
Simon was made a visiting fellow of Leeds University Business School in 2002. He became a Board Director of the Royal Hospital for Neuro-Disability also in 2002, and has been a member of the Hospital’s Investment Committee since 2003. He is a member of the Royal Academy and English Heritage and from time to time makes use of his membership of Rye Golf Club.

DUDLEY EDMUNDS trained in combined sciences and began his career in the wine and dry foods trade as a microbiologist and chemist. Since then he has worked in the executive search business for some 25 years. His focus during this time has been exclusively directed to the financial services industry within the Investment Banking, Asset Management and Private Banking sectors.
He has a global client and contact base and has strong contacts with AIM and asset class product specialists. Dudley co-founded Culliford Edmunds Associates in May 2004.
Dudley is a school governor, and a Governor of the RNLI. He is a keen outdoors person and is a member of the Dartmoor Society, the Exmoor Society, The International Sheep Dog Society and the CPRE. He is also a member of The Devonshire Association for the Advancement of Science, Literature and the Arts.

DAVID GRANT graduated from Cambridge in 1970 and rapidly developed a city career in cross border equity sales, going on to lead international teams in major securities houses.
He moved into the search business in 1993, specialising in financial sector recruitment, including both sell-side and buy-side functions. In recent years his financial practice has increasingly focused on the investment management aspects of wealth management, and on specialist corporate finance roles.
David worked in investment banking for over twenty years and as a linguist he maintains a strong international emphasis in his work. He is a Fellow of the Securities and Investment Institute, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, and a member and trustee of the European Cultural Foundation UK Committee. He is Chair of Governors of a primary school. David joined Culliford Edmunds Associates in May 2006.

JAMES CARMALT graduated with a degree in Politics from the University of Liverpool in 1997 before commencing a career in stockbroking, initially with Charles Schwab in Birmingham. Later he joined the London private clients team in what became Gerrard Investment Management where he continued to build his knowledge of the sector. He also had a role as an institutional equity dealer at the same group before a brief spell with Citibank.
He began his career in wealth management recruitment in 2003, initially with a large national firm in Birmingham, before moving back to London in 2007.
James joined Culliford Edmunds Associates in April 2008 and, with the experience and knowledge that he has gained, he continues to focus strongly on both London and regional coverage of the UK onshore private wealth market

STEVE SEAGROVE joined CEA as a Board Director in September 2011 after a successful track record of 25 years in the banking industry, including four years as Head of Wealth Management and Private Banking in Europe for Standard Chartered , responsible for operations in the UK, Channel Islands, Switzerland and Monaco. Prior to that he held senior executive positions with Standard Chartered in Hong Kong, Thailand, Africa and the UK. This included time as Area General Manager for six African countries, Group Head of Investor Relations, and Head of Large Corporate Relationships in Hong Kong. In the early part of his career Steve joined Midland Bank (now HSBC) as a graduate trainee and this was followed by spells with Hill Samuel and Credit Suisse. In recent years Steve has held Board appointments for a number of Standard Chartered subsidiaries in Asia, Africa and Europe.
As well as working in executive search, Steve is developing his consultancy activity offering executive coaching and facilitation of organizational change.
